The Elephant in the Room
Hope Hub started with four spirited women who came together with a shared vision: to create a space where women could reconnect and support one another after the isolating days of COVID. What started as a small group aimed at personal growth has blossomed into something truly extraordinary.
Recognising a deep need in the community, these women thought, "Why not expand?" And so, our group began to grow—not just in numbers, but in diversity, spirit, and purpose. We decided early on that our gatherings had to be fun, serious when needed, but always enjoyable. We didn’t want a church, nor did we want rules or rigid structures. Yes, we’re Christians and believe in God, but our aim is to embrace you just as you are, walking alongside you as you discover your unique path in life.
Some of us attend church, some don’t. Some have been hurt by religion, while others haven’t. Some have never set foot in a church, and some might one day. But here’s the key: our purpose isn’t to lead you to church. Our sole expectation is that you find your own path and purpose in life.
And now, the elephant in the room: “Religion.” We understand it can be challenging for those who don’t believe in God, are unsure, or are atheists to join a group like ours, fearing expectations or judgments. But here’s the truth: we have no other agenda than to help each other uncover the truth about who we are, where we’re going, and where we belong. That’s it—BELONGING.
We are flawed, human, and imperfect. Sometimes chaotic, and maybe even a bit offensive, but we are also full of forgiveness, and we face challenges together. We’re committed to being our authentic selves and doing our best with a united heart.
At our gatherings, our goal is to cultivate a culture of non-judgment and profound peace.
With love,
Kris, Catherine, Janine, and Gabby xx
